If you told people that in order to continue running Windows they have to allow a Microsoft goon to bash their finger in with a hammer once a month, I suspect most people would still continue to run Windows. Except now they'd be typing slower with their bashed in finger.

Quoting: Leopard2020 : It is still coming...

One thing to note ; i don't understand why they are referring releasing a GOG version as a reward?

People are buying it from there , you are not giving it away this game on there. You're just putting your build to another store ; at a price.

Reward term is irritating.

Kickstarter backers get a GOG key as a reward. It's like four years late but at least they finally delivered that.

Ugghh , disgusting practices.

No, it's just because people backing the KS were promised DRM free versions, so this is just them delivering on that. Nothing disgusting.

Quoting: throghWow, let's celebrate proprietary client-software with saving on someone else's computer! Better building ScummVM from source-code with "free as in freedom" and disabling support for network / cloud. :-)

Cloud saves is optional. And even when enabled, it only makes a cloud backup of your local save. But whatever - you keep doing you.

Open-ended puzzle game 'Opus Magnum' from Zachtronics has left Early Access

Opus Magnum is by far the most accessible of these games. I think pretty much anyone can find solutions to the puzzles that work... with varying elegance, of course. With previous ones I always found myself stuck at some point.

Quoting: LeopardI was playing this game on Android. This game was good but damn hard if you won't do micro payments which eventually needed for upgrading your ship.

I hope that won't be the case with Steam release.

The Steam release of the original did away with all of that, so I'm sure they will with this one too.

Quoting: GuestI’m glad to see a new FPS game on GOG, but the trailer makes this one seem rather boring. You’re a robot shooting other robots in the desert, and that’s it?

Not quite. You're in space hacking control of robots on a planet in order to solve a mystery. It's quite a slow game, so sounds like this might not be for you, but there's more to it than just shooting things.

Quoting: DrMcCoyWell, I did preorder NWN:EE, and have access to the "headstart" (beta) version now.

Does this also mean you will soon have a whole new set of data files to test xoreos with?
