Can't be trusted to work forever, but search for "an anime game launcher" on gitlab. Will respect their wish to not link it here or mention the game by name.

Quoting: fenglengshunMy "final bar" would be if Genshin could get some sort of Linux release, because then that's it, we've reached critical mass where the ball's rolling on their own.

Syncthing is a great way to transfer files from PC to Steam Deck

Yes, people's favourite reason to visit a web site is so that the site owner can speak to them like he thinks they're assholes. You falsely assume people read every word you write. In this case why would someone who already knows how to use syncthing do that?

Thanks for the pointless sarcasm, mature human.

Quoting: tuxintuxedoQuoting: BoldosThat would change nothing. Wine (Proton) still doesn't work on ARM.Quoting: denyasisI was always under the impression that most/many of the Chromebooks were lower powered ARM chipsets? I'm assuming this is for x86 systems only?I also assumed that this is for >ARM< based systems...
So, no Steam for ARM yet?

Stadia does not currently use DXVK. I think you have it confused with the new "windows emulator" project they are working on.

that simple ,
Give a single example where Stadia have helped the Steam Deck. Stadia is not Linux + Vulkan, it's some in-house proprietary Google API + DXVK that just happens to run atop Debian.

How does it help Linux? None of the native ports on Stadia have ever been released for desktop Linux as far as I know.
In the case of all those Ubisoft titles. Most are not even on Steam.

I have another theory. It's possible they are moving anything Steam Deck related into a different depot. There are 2 reasons one might want to do this as a developer. One is to have the anticheat stuff separate (1 file), but the other is to potentially add in a separate low res assets set to use up less space on the Deck. I'm still waiting for the first dev to make use of this feature.
EDIT: The name of the quick fix branch is interesting also. It reads: "temporary test for merge build for EA". The "for EA" part sticks out, almost as if they are only doing this because the publisher told them to.
