Following on from someone else in this thread's theory... is it the upcoming "Lara Croft: Rise of the Tomb Raider"?

Thanks ellie... which rhymes with smelly.
Ok... 1001 as binary converted to decimal is 9. "Engine engine number 9, coming down Chicago line." Chicago is synonymous with the mafia. So it must be Mafia II. :P

Firstly, the fact that you use the term "SJW" says more about you than about them.
Secondly, most people in my Twitter feed who you would classify as such were arguing that the game has a right to exist, even with such content.

Quoting: bronyboyQuoting: morbiusWhy did they bother porting that garbage?
Why am I not surprise to see a bunch of SJW condemning a game simply because they don't like the content it has?
....the gameplay is garbage though in my opinion.

Linux Editor Mentioned On The Unity Roadmap

Nice! I already use Unity on Linux - kind-of (wine-mono), and even though it was never intended to be a permanent solution, seeing as code ownership on something this proprietary is limited, I am stuck with it since I have at least two commercial releases to keep supporting.
Running it 100% natively would be just freaking dandy. My main dev box doesn't even have Windows on it.

Sony Is Creating A List Of Crowdfunding Projects To Gauge Interest

I'm going to guess here that the majority of the 40k backers so far are people who are fans of Shenmue 1 & 2. All this KS is telling Sony is that some people who played Shenmue 1 and 3 would like to play Shenmue 3. Not sure how useful that information is to investors.

I agree with Bones. The whole thing is just gross. (do the kids still say that?)
The original Shenmue cost $70m to make. So they raise a few million on Kickstarter to "gauge interest"? The games were wildly popular with a cult following - there is nothing for them to gauge. The end result is that a bunch of gamers now think that a game like that can be made for a few million dollars. No wonder so many consumers expect all games to cost <$5 these days, or yell at Double Fine because they think $3m should have produced a AAA game in 6 months or less.
I like crowdfunding and support many projects on there of varying sizes/budgets, but when the Sonys and Microsofts start poking their nose in, things start to get rotten.

So, are the game designers, writers, artists, etc. all supposed to jump in and help finish the Linux port? No, they carry on with the next project.

Geez man, don't frame it like some kind of grand scandal that they are working their next game. :/
They are working on a new game, using the same engine. The engine porting is what's being worked on for Linux. Them working on a separate game does not get in the way of the porting. Yes, it's taking a long time, but as it has been said - they are new to this, and having a more portable engine will help future ports.

Would like to attach my vote to both DX:HR and DX:MD for inclusion in said machine. :) You won't get much sales from HR as I suspect many people already may have bought it on that other platform we shall not name, but no doubt when MD comes out there will eventually be bundled sales. Also, many Linuxers love to show support by buying DLC, and I know I would gladly pick up the extra content that HR has.
