Yes, I'm well aware. Just didn't include that fact in already long rant.
I'm not sure how much they still share code though. Probably not much.

Based on what I quickly read about the history of Webkit, Apples problem was more that they really didn't know how to collaborate at first, which made collaboration between Webkit and KHTML project really hard. They fixed lot of issues later and while Safari is more of an open core project, the Webkit engine is usable outside Safari. It just isn't very popular, people are mostly building browsers based on Chromium instead.
In case of Safari, GPL wouldn't have fixed the issues as such. With GPL, Apple might have just looked elsewhere and if there wouldn't have been usable engine out there for their use, they might have just developed totally proprietary engine.
License doesn't prevent poor community management and it's not possible convert company to full open source contributor in short term. Having license options out there helps ease the transition though.
Long term everything is possible though. Microsofts path would be something like this: first paint open source as enemy, but secretly use BSD code. Then experiment with licenses that are not really open source, but people get to look at the code. Latest phase seems to be that when it suits Microsoft, projects appear in Github with open source license. Not necessary GPL, but still open source. I checked and Windows Terminal is licensed with MIT license.

Quoting: randylQuoting: GuestOne concern I have with patches being pushed to corporate forks rather than upstream wine is the situation we had with KHTML and WebKit, where Apple managed to hijack the project. Wine is licensed under LGPL rather than GPL which was the exact same situation with KHTML. LGPL allows you to add proprietary components later as well, and then slowly change license by changing part by part into different licenses as you replace the code.Apple didn't hijack anything. That's how the license and forking works. Upstream is free to pull from a fork as well. People are free to use the fork or the original project. Sometimes that works out poorly for the original project, but there are reasons for that (see Open Office vs Libre Office).
Licenses work exactly how they're written, not how people feel the "spirit" of it should work. Every license has its strength and weaknesses. This is a good pull request that both Proton and the WINE project can benefit from.

There's lot of things that are underground and wishbone can detect. There's at least one way to make cheesing silver without wishbone bit easier, but wishbone is the way to go unless you are trying to get silver earlier than you're supposed to.

In addition it's underground, with no visible markers to indicate where.Do you know that you can use the wishbone from the Bonemass boss to detect silver nodes?

Here are the native ones, getting list that shows which ones work with Proton is little bit more complicated. For Proton anyway, it's good to check details bit more closely from Protondb as games can sometimes have problems with certain setups.
Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs
Amnesia Rebirth
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Broken Age
Corridor Z
Drawful 2
Draw Slasher
EarthX
Fury Unleashed
Hexologic
Kerbal Space Program
Kingdom: Two Crowns
Long Dark (this might not be listed native everywhere, but at least Steam store thinks its native and I have played it without Proton)
Metro Exodus
Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine
Moon Hunters
Pathway
Pawnbarian
Pikuniku
Radio Commander
Shing!
Skullgirls 2nd Encore
Slay the Spire
Starbound
SUPERHOT
This War of Mine
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove
Tooth and Tail
Vagante
Wanderlust Travel Stories (GOG only)
We are alright (actually a video)
Wizard of Legend
ΔV: Rings of Saturn
Comics and books should work, they rarely have DRM (if ever)

At least according to Hillary Clinton it's badge of honor. If you get into Russian sanctions list, you're doing something right. If it's just sanctions, they will only hurt you if you actually have some ties to Russia.

Such weird times we live in...

I played the demo when it was available and it has potential, there just wasn't enough differentiating things implemented, so it was kind of Gamedev Tycoon lite.

That's not there by default. I found these instructions though: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1369737759
I glanced at the script code and it does seem to have integration to Humble and few similar services. Hopefully it doesn't contain anything malicious, I'm not Javascript guru so I can't really tell.

Instead of clicking through several pages every time?
just go to https://store.steampowered.com/account/registerkey and click "activate multiple products", then you can just paste one key per line.
Remember that you can only activate 50 Keys per hour

As far as I know, no. Bundle page is four clicks and keys page is the same. Some games come in bundles though, so you'll save some clicks.
Some years ago the activation happened directly from the bundle page, but now activation happens always from Steam store (you can activate the key with Steam client with the code, but that's even more cumbersome).

What I would recommend from what I have actually played are:
Slay the Spire: quite influential rogue lite card game
Drawful 2: If you have friends, try this one out (great thing is that phones are used as controllers, so non gamers can also play)
Superhot: The time moves only when you move shooter. If you have ever wanted to be in action movie, try this one out.
Broken Age: This one is quite enjoyable adventure game.
System Shock: I have only played the original. It's basically sci-fi FPS RPG from time when good conventions where still in bit of a flux. The enhanced edition in the bundle should fix lot of the issues.
Hexologic: Enjoyable puzzle game. Even more so if you're not totally allergic to math.
