Quoting: ZlopezPSN account should be optional in this case. Especially if this is single-player only game.

Not should - has to. There is just plain and simple no even remotely valid excuse for forcing any account bullshit on a singleplayer game.

Quoting: scaineLooks lovely! Still wouldn't buy an Nvidia card!

And wouldn't create an account on one of these cesspool-plattforms for the chance to win one either ;)

The "Remake" looks nice for sure - but 95% of the improvement is either in the assets/textures or could have been done almost as good with non-pathtraced lightning (but 3 times the FPS instead ;) ).

Aren't they ashamed to blabber such bullshit?!

I mean for Multiplayer games - ok, with a whole lot of good will and booze, i will accept that argument. But for singleplayer? Go try to fool your grandma instead of treating us like 3-year-olds...

Quoting: TevurDo you remember the time when digital distribution with its more or less hassle-free accessability essentially killed video game piracy?

Well, they saw how it's going with the video piracy and thought 'We can do better than that and revive piracy even quicker!'

Even Microsoft has Telemetry as Opt-In - at least in Power-Toys.

QuoteNice to see this sort of thing has been thought about, and to have a developer directly reply with a solution.

On the one hand - yeah, nice that they reply. But on the other (much bigger) hand: Forcing an absolutely useless BS-Login on a SP game is just despicable and an absolute dealbreaker for me. Shame on you, Sony!

Maybe they put all the input-options of the Deck to really good use?
Would be kind of a first (apart from Aperture Desk Job), and limit compatibility with other handhelds, but i could imagine it could be offering really neat experiences with a game like this.

KDE is basically the only entity that makes it into my "end of year donation spree" every single year. Maybe it's time to start throwing money early this year ^^

Humble Choice for October is stacked full of good stuff

Hopefully they will keep up the pace of the last few months. I skipped most of 23, but for a few months now, the selection was getting better and better.

DomeKeeper is a gem of a game (so it can't hurt to have a key to give away ^^), Jousant was on my wishlist anyway, Remnant should be interesting, too.
Now the question - as always - remains: where can i muster the time to play all those games?
