Sounded like fun, just tried it out with three friends. Gameplay surely needs some more finetuning, it somehow doesn't "feel right" yet imho...
Worked well though.

Great first impression - doesn't finish loading neither in chromium nor in vivaldi...

But if it would work, this would be a great way to provide demos imho - after all, downloading 100GB to test a game for 10min is kind of excessive ;)

Considering how extremely well the past titles' native version ran, this still is nowhere near a state i would consider paying more than 5 bucks in a sale for...
Just a real shame considering their previous track record...

I have about half the DLCs, but the rest struck me sometimes as too heavy.

Usually they are all separate keys, so you can only redeem the ones you don't already own.
On top of that, you can activate and deactivate which owned DLCs should be used in the steam properties if that's your concern.

This is absolutely the way to go - this will imho greatly enhance the chance of pirates buying the game at some point (if they like it) and is vastly superior to implementing some bullshit DRM that will only bother honest buyers and won't affect the pirates at all...
