I really liked Epic...in the past.
They really do try hard to make themselfs hated...

it's an a-hole move and i won't be buying their game outside of a massive sale, even if the re-implement linux some time after release...

that said, at least you can get a refund - hopefully they communicate the change of plans through email etc so every scammed tux can reclaim their money...

love itch - i normally check if the game is sold on itch (and ideally offers a steam key for the transition-time ;) ) before buying something from Humble or Steam.
Besides "my steam library is pretty big" only missing friends features are what i'm missing in itch ^^

the biggest reason i haven't bought it yet is the version-issue...two doze-friends are playing it from time to time and they are the ones i'd like to join ^^
