Linux Mint Debian Edition 5 is out now

Quoting: tuubiThe same Chromium package is available in Linux Mint, so that's not a very good example.
Same version yes, but different builds so technically not the same package.
Anyway - the point was that the Mint team had to start building Chromium themselves. With Canonical going all in on snaps, the Mint team saying hard no to snaps, the possibility of future snap-deb shenanigans and headaches... maybe time to cut out Ubuntu as the middle man.

Side note, for a while around the same time period, Debian was also having issues with Chromium and I pinched the updated builds from LMDE for my Siduction machines. :) The Debian Chromium Team is fairly on the ball these days though. In any case I've nearly completely transitioned to Firefox now.

Still wondering when the Mint team has had enough of Canonicals canonicalisms and instead adopt LMDE as the real/only Linux Mint version. To name just one example, LMDE packages Chromium now since Canonicals betrayal with the snap-deb.

Great collab, warts and all. :)
Impressive that the Deck managed this recording, even though there are small glitches and the video drops out a bit there around 1:38:00. Looking forward to the follow up, maybe Xmas special?

ProtonUp-Qt got upgraded, here's how to use it on Steam Deck and Linux

Now since Glorious Eggroll has renamed Proton-GE to GE-Proton, should we not adopt this naming change in general? Apparently it's a bit confusing for people not in the know, so to speak.
For context read his own statements on this.

The inability for the Steam and GOG versions to play together was a sad reality, one that I did not imagine ever getting fixed. This was a surprising announcement, but a welcome one to be sure.

Eggnut decide not to bring Backbone to Linux officially

So the demo ran natively back in 2019, same year devs received an Epic Mega Grant for the game, then Linux support evaporated. I'm not suggesting anything, I'm sure this is just a coincidence.
