Since MXGP3 Linux build runs like frozen dog shit, I'm not having any hopes for this one. :|
If anyone does try it, please report back!

Maybe switching to KDE isn't an acceptable solution for everyone.
I realized that I hardly ever click that icon. Do you guys use it for some specific function?

I can appreciate the sentiment that Steam is having plenty of less impressive titles these days.

I'll just note that as an old Wing Commander fan, this title appeals to me on many levels. The graphics alone twangs the ol' nostalgia string, and I'm willing to hum along with that tune.

If someone else doesn't feel this game is right for them, hey man, no hate, you do your thing. Play whatever floats your boat. Just try not to be a total whackass about other games, mmkay? There's too much bullshit in this world already, no point adding more.

Peace bros.

the publisher of the original Spintires stiffed the developer and that's why Mudrunner exists, better engine/game/features/support and is in active development, has had 2 free DLC, console ports coming and much more. Original Spintires is abandoned and neither game will come to Linux. If you're thinking of buying either game, do take this into consideration.

This pleases my Scandinavian aesthetic senses. ^_^
I'll give them a pass on the Nvidia nonsense and a slightly raised eyebrow at the prices. I'll just leave a note here; there will always be an extra cost involved when buying a pre-assembled PC vs buying parts and building it yourself, that's the nature of the beast.
