I have been captivated by Red Dead Redemption 2. The game is absolutely huge and incredibly detailed.
I have also occasionally loaded up Pavlov VR just to shoot zombies:)

Glad your keeping the podcasts going!
I thought the way that samsai's productivity was affected by the google cloud server crash was very funny.

Thanks Liam and Samsai I really enjoyed the podcast. Reminded me of listening to Graham, Ben, Mike and Andrew from the linux format / voice days.
Looking forward to the next.

It's been mostly Red Dead Redemtion II. My daughter persuaded me to get it, and it has been a massive pleasure to play.
The great pity is that we cannot have a multiplayer game as that is sadly broken on linux.
I have also been logging in for a few Wargames in Interstellar Marines - scary robot time :). There are usually a couple of players around to team up with and a nice bunch they all seem to be.
Hope you get over your cold @scaine, VR is no fun is you have to keep blowing your nose.

I do wish they had posted some daylight footage, just to get a better look at the game.
On the subject of running around in the dark and completely unrelated to this game, I recently had a go at Interstellar Marines and teamed up with a couple of players who clearly knew exactly what they were doing and where they were going in the pitch black. I didn't know the maps as well and ran straight off the edge to my death AND with a third of our team points, now lost and unrecoverable. DOH!

This is very early days for VR in blender, and I haven't had a lot of success with it but if you start blender through steam. Go to preferences and then add-ons then tick 3D View VR Scene Inspection. You will now have the option to start a VR session. Press 'n' to open the side bar and there will be a vr tab with an option to start a vr session. It's buggy but nice to see some of your creations :)

Half-Life: Alyx support for Linux aiming to arrive with Vulkan support post-release

I am very pleased with my card. The only time I really experience issues is with VR, but the current state of VR is beta anyway. I have watched corben78 play H/L Alyx on his nvidia harware on GOL's twitch channel and he experienced problems also. Unless you really want openCL I recommend the radeon rx 5700 very much.
