Not sure about 130 W, but here are a couple of comparisons:
* https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27gr95qe-b-gaming-monitor
* https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27gp850-b-gaming-monitor
That's 65 W for LCD and 94 W for OLED.
These can roughly be considered in the same class of gaming monitors. Still a bump, but it's not as bad as 130 W at least.
I can't find any info on screens lifespan though.

I also wonder why it takes them longer than to AMD in laptops to refresh the APU. AMD are already shipping Zen 4 / RDNA 3 laptop APUs.

Quoting: preludelinuxI'm very surprised not refreshing the cpu/gpu so this is more of a basic refresh. they might be holding off to all the new apu's get released though and get bugs and thermals sorted before a major upgrade though.

Wobbly windows weren't dropped from Plasma 5, so they were there all along. Some effects like desktop cube were removed and are returning only now (they needed to switch to different design with QML and etc.).

Quoting: BlackBloodRumThe cube!
I hope it will also have wobbly windows and things, haha. I miss that old stuff!

I'm surprised they didn't go for newer generation of APU (Zen 4 / RDNA 3 rather than just process shrink). I guess such kind of upgrade cycles are slow for them.

I think over time they'll drop it altogether (supporting only XWayland case for what relies on X). So better start using Wayland sooner rather than later.

Wayland experience with KDE is quite good already. What I'm waiting for is enabling Vulkan rendering for KWin.

Oh, I liked the original game. It has some technical issues like huge load times, but writing in it is actually interesting. I'll check the expansion out!
Slay the Princess, or don't - you probably shouldn't but you can play it now

Cinnamon 6.0 for Linux Mint 21.3 to have 'experimental' Wayland support

I think KDE developers underestimated it by a lot, so it likely means more.

Starting on Wayland is good, but judging by how long it took KDE Plasma to get to decent state, it will probably be a long road. Still nice to see some progress.
