Quoting: DrMcCoyYeah, there's no chance in hell this will ever happen.

I dare you to prove me wrong, GOG.

Why can't it happen? I don't really see any downsides for GOG.

The Witcher 2's Linux Version Has An Open Beta For Bug Fixes

Great to see Virtual Programming actually actively working on redesigning eON to improve performance. It means CDPR gave them resources to do that.

I still wonder who if anyone at all will be working on the Linux version of the Witcher 3? CDPR themselves or some external contractors like in this case?

Dwarf Fortress Sees First New Release In 2 Years

It's really complex and deep features wise. You hang on to the primitive UI, but didn't really pay attention to the rest of it. That's kind of the point - Dwarf Fortress put an effort into developing deep features (interacting with the world and so on), and not into UI. That's weird, I agree, but it has its place.

Some interesting articles about it:

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition For Linux Is Still Planned
4 July 2014 at 8:51 pm UTC

Quoting: hummer010The windows version is entirely DRM free. If you purchase it from BeamDog, you need to use the DeamDog client to download the game. The game itself is DRM free to run after that, but you still need the client for updates.

Is it still? Someone told me that stopped offering a direct purchase. Also, using some extra client's isn't the best idea as well.

No, it doesn't.

Whatever Happened To Torchlight On Linux? UPDATED
25 June 2014 at 11:39 pm UTC

I'd be interested in response. My suspicion - the publisher messed up something, and didn't let them distribute Torchlight for Linux further (like in the Humble Store). But there is no reason why they shouldn't be able to comment about it.

I got it in one of the HB in the past, so I have it, but it's not possible to buy it there now.

See how many are listed as publishers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torchlight
Are Runic alone who decide what versions can be sold?
