With every release a little bit more works and i should do my periodic Mafia 3 test to see if it lost its black textures already when not using VKD3D and DXVK as translation layers

What do you mean by web/electron support?
You can watch Netflix and Disney within Heroic and it is build on this framework.

Quoting: GuestI have settled on using bottles for everything except steam (of course) and gog native linux games. I didn't find myself "at home" using neither Lutris nor Heroic

Galaxy on Windows because it integrates GoG and Other Stores like Lutris into a common interface.
Heroic for Linux to get Amazon, GoG and Epic Games running there.
Steam for SteamGames as that is hard to reimplent
Battle.net via Wine for Activision/Blizzard Games on Linux, but i hope we will eventually get an OpenSource implementation for this. The reverse engineering is amazing for this company down to private servers for World Of Warcraft and mods abusing bugs in Starcraft 1
Haven't gone down the path of Emulation too much so i think i don't need Lutris that much.
Maybe i am used to do it all manually with wine in the past

Looks a bit brighter but not visually pleasing. A remake would have been my choice here. I think people already demonstrated that as a sparetime project

Broken Sword - Shadow of the Templars getting remastered, plus a whole new adventure

Yea these two feel out of place. Like Desperados 2 and Helldorado where the 3d engine wasn't good enough so the style became a lot worse to look at.
The parcival stone part has nice backgrounds but the 3d models feel a bit akward at the moment.
Hopefully we will three all 6 parts with the same attention to detail and a common style close to the original series.
Going for the first part of the series is a good idea though. Large screens will benefit from higher resolution and a better menu and controls would certainly help. The directors cut on a modern computer feels a bit weird imho.
As they work with AI, it shouldn't slow them down too much touching that game as well

Quoting: whizseI wish they went back and gave 3 & 4 some love instead. Keep the gist of the story but remake everything else. Make them proper point & clickers with detailed 2D graphics.
