You can find it through the Github link at their site, also here.

Oooh! It matches my Hue Light and LED setup: :P

The atmosphere looks really nice in this, I hope the gameplay proves to be equally enticing.

Any chance we can change the question "When was the last time you used Wine to play a Windows game?" to use a checkbox for "In the last month" and let the system calculate the rest? Possibly with a dropdown for when the checkbox isn't selected to get the data for new users?
I'm having a hard time remembering when exactly I last used Wine and also having to map it to three month intervals.

Wait, is Mercy looking for her mother or is the curse?

I'll have to second Alm888's opinion, it seems pretty generic and the visuals look more like an open source project than a game for sale. It'll have to drum up some very nice reviews before I'd be interested, unfortunately.

Red Embrace: Hollywood is a Visual Novel that will take you through life as a Vampire

Yup, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines is still quite undead :)

I had thought you were talking about a patch for Proton.

Quoting: GuestIf I know VNs, this is a smutty VN targeted at female audiences. If you want a legit good Vampire game, the only one I know would be VTMB. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2600/

Can confirm it runs out of the box on proton, at least with nvidia proprietary drivers. The only bug is that it doesn't scale with 16:9 resolutions normally, the unofficial patch will fix that right up.

The "smut" seems highly optional. From what I can gather, there's a completely "smut"-free optional romance plot in the game and extra "smutt" scenes available as a separate patch/download/free DLC.

What is the patch you're referring to?

Okay...

Yeah, it's a a terrible bit(e) of timing.

This one at least does seem different in that there's the whole romance angle and a bit more of a fan-service like feel to the whole thing.

EDIT: Seems I wasn't too far off the mark on that one: "If you're a fan of the obscene, then you'll be happy to know that RE:H will indeed have (optional) adult content." - The Kickstarter page

Quoting: chancho_zombie[...]are you sure of that?? I thought that modifying a binary was illegal.[...]

As far as I remember, it's perfectly legal as long as you're not using that modification to circumvent any DRM system outside of your local copy (and even then, you should be fine outside of the USA). If you're circumventing a DRM system in your local copy, you're fine, it's within your consumer rights to use the software in whichever way you intend.
I am definitely not a lawyer though.

EDIT: I believe most of this was sorted out with the DRM systems in place for home medias (DVDs and BluRays); ie. you bought the thing, you have the right to modify it to make sure you can actually use it.

Roguelike RPG 'Depth of Extinction' is now out with full Linux support

In good news for us, the mouse-wiggle issue is apparently not an issue with the Linux version; Rock Paper Shotgun mention it in their review as well (which is presumably of the Windows version).

Quoting: CybolicThanks. Yeah, that sure is a minor fix and unrelated to what I was hoping for.

And what are you hoping for? [...]
I was hoping for what I mentioned in my quote just above ;)
"I'm hoping it's related to the issue with launching the Batman Arkham games [...]"

There are currently issues with launching those games (and others relying on .NET, that can be solved by launching the game first with the Windows version set to XP and then again back to the default Win 10. It's a fairly trivial fix and they're popular games, so I'm just hoping to see it made easy for "the common folk".
