which successful games do epic and stadia have?
fortnite and............?
valve still got CS, DOTA, TF2
maybe valve should buy rust, or ark... survival games are very popular these days
or a game like Sanctum 2 with workshop

Quoting: einherjarIs this the next flop from Valve?
I begin to worry. They face more and more competition (EGS, Stadia,..) but it seems, they can't manage to make a real successing game.
A lot of new games did also not come to Steam. And the Valve Index is in the topsellers, but it is a niche product...

i think valves mesa is the same as padoka except it uses ACO shader compiler as default
you can still force LLVM as default. i think it should be like using padoka and crash again.
ACO can be disabled with the following environment variable: RADV_PERFTEST=llvm
anyways... i hope they make a free weekend soon. i kinda wanna try it myself

thx for the key
first start it hang on loading screen. alt+F4/Tab didnt work
i had to cntrl+alt+F2 and kill the process there. the full command: /gamedir --vulkan..... so i guess it uses vulkan. it is an UE game so vulkan should be default
second start it worked
hope we can run around soon

do these builds fix anything, besides wine fixes?
like BATMAN, or Black the Fall and other games you would need winetricks, etc but work OOTB with these versions?

and imho... i think native looks much better

Quoting: liamdaweQuoting: mylkaam i the only one looking at the background? That is actually how it is supposed to look. The D9VK version looks almost the same as it does on Windows. The Linux version is way too bright and has no fog apparently.
D9VK shows absolutely nothing..... of course it is faster
just look at the 1 second..... its just dark... nothing to render
Edit: Added a second video to also compare, on a different map, along with some slight adjustments to the wording in places to accommodate it.
