i guess its going to be a FREE TO PLAY title on epic
who would buy this game after all this years? on a different store? everyone who wanted it, already has it, or will buy it before it goes to epic

they give away a free game every 2 weeks, so RL will be one of them
btw transistor is free for a few hours. next is world of goo
both have linux support on steam, so if the epic store ever comes to linux, you have it

Quoting: edoso linux version will stop being on sell once it goes to epic store

1) buy some steam keys on humble
2) wait til RL is on epic
3) ?
4) PROFIT

You can now easily run the Epic Store on Linux with Lutris, Epic suggests applying for a grant

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoThe Murdered: Soul Suspect freeze in cutscene "entering cementery" is present on PROTON 4.2-1 too...
The game in DX9 mode doesn't crash, but there are a lot of graphic glitches, like missing textures.
If it crashes in dx11 but not dx9, you should open a bug report on DXVK github page.

I tried with PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 and the game doesn't crash... But it looks horrible..

It seems both layers are broken.

just skip back to DXVK after the cut scene
But that is not a solution... And is the only thing that prevents the inclusion of this game in the whitelist.

but it is sth i can live with, because i bought it 90% off
if they fix it, its fine, but if they dont i wouldn't bother

sekiro isnt really a big surprise since it is whitelisted dark souls 3 with japan setting

same with metro3. i havent tried it, but it has some platinum, because its the same engine like metro 1+2 and they work ootb

games with unreal engine are most likely to run ootb. darksiders 3, tropico 6, life is strange, mutant year zero, NBA, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, vampyr, visage, we happy few, ark, die young, hellblade, Little Nightmares, rime, styx, etc

thats why it is so sad, that obsidian doesnt bring The Outer Worlds to steam this year. i am pretty sure it also would run with proton

As is always the case and the same answer each time, that's usually the minimum they had available to try it on. Additionally, there's always a bit of overhead on their ports so they end up needing a bit extra.

min is clear, because older ones dont support vulkan

i am talking about MAX
its a 1070 for linux and just gtx780 for windows

btw anyone tried it with proton and compared it with the native?

This is a regression in mesa-git which affects Lords of the Fallen as well. I'm working on getting a useful test case for the driver folks to reproduce this, but it's a rather tricky issue.

As a temporary workaround you could build this DXVK branch, it was originally meant to solve a different problem but just happens to work around that driver issue as well.

one guy with nvidia has the same problem on protondb https://www.protondb.com/app/378540
so its no just mesa
