I love this game, so nice to have some more ^_^

All that simulation pixelation effect in the video isn't grabbing me but I'll certainly play it. And I'll be cloning some chickens. Lots of chickens. I'll check out that DLC too.

AMD officially announce the "Zen 2" Ryzen 3 series & new RDNA GPU architecture + Intel tease new CPU

My current CPU (i7-4790k) is the first Intel CPU I ever bought. If I'd known what was coming I'd have stuck with AMD. I can guarantee my next one will be an AMD.

I loved this on the PS1 and would love to play it (RTX) on my Linux desktop but I can't see me ditching my GTX 970 until it packs up. Or I win the lottery. It looks gorgeous though.

Card games don't appeal to me either but I loved playing all their other games so maybe I'll give it a go!

Quoting: devnullWould be interesting if someone from Valve could comment on what it means but regarding the survey you can check when your last report was with

grep -i survey ~/.steam/steam/config/config.vdf

I get...

I get nothing! :D

I run Steam about 4 or 5 days a week even if I don't play anything.

Quoting: gradyvuckovicImma keep it real with ya chief - That response is 100% PR Talk

Of course it is. However, we've seen enough arrogant responses to questions about Linux to appreciate a polite PR response.

I actually prefer an honest answer. I'm sick of constantly hearing "PR Talk" - it's at worst (and often) just plain lying and at best disingenuous.

The Glass Staircase, a homage to classic survival horrors and Italian zombie movies adds Linux support

Quoting: Lain1976This remind me the good old Resident evil!

Indeed ^_^ I loved playing the old PS1 games, especially Silent Hill. There was a point in that where I had the biggest jump I ever had playing a video game.

That was the last console I owned!

Eldritch, a first-person action game inspired by roguelikes had a surprise huge update

I absolutely loved playing this. I'll definitely give it another run through when I'm finished with XCOM 2.

Aspyr Media confirm the free "Ultra HD" DLC for Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel is coming to Linux

Borderlands 2 is quite possibly my favourite all time game. So good in fact, I haven't played the pre-sequel yet for fear of disappointment

Whilst I appreciate this release, will it not just mean a massive download for very little gain? (For myself, I play in 1080p). Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a huge part (size wise) of the last DOOM these 4K textures?

No Man's Sky runs very nicely on Linux with Steam Play, huge online feature update and VR support coming

A "Linux" Proton sale may not mean much or anything to the studio releasing it on Windows but it does mean something to Valve

I will buy Linux ports in preference and I do. This line will become more blurred though, especially as Proton matures. I've been using Linux for well over ten years but there must be a ton of good old Windows games I can (and may) buy in the sales that I don't even know exist (I've never followed general gaming news).

I use Linux because I love the OS, the freedom etc. etc. Linux sales are proportionally small and it's amazing we're actually where we are now, so (IMO) Proton/WINE adoption is the only way to (potentially) grow the Linux gaming market in any meaningful way.

My use of Linux never has and never will be influenced by gaming anyway, it's just a nice development ^_^
