Realistic racing game 'DRAG' coming to Linux soon, built on Linux and it looks astonishing

I'm a bit behind with my feeds (10 pages already!) but would also like to say I'm extremely interested in this. You sound like great devs and fully worthy of my support... and the game does look amazing also ;)

Quoting: Luke_Nukem
Quoting: chimpyI'd say if it's ever released for Linux, tell everyone you know to buy a Linux version, play it for 110 minutes then everyone refund it back to Steam :) ;)

Please don't. If they do finally release on Linux, can we at least all be very grateful for it and show them it was worth the effort (and not worth giving us the amount of stick they did).

I would rather they thought "Oh, well that was unexpected and very good" instead of "Yeah it's just like we thought, bad. They're just all negative all the time".

Are you serious? They should be prosecuted for fraud.

I tell you what, you give me the money I PAID for this game all those many years ago, then when it's finally released for Linux you can have it :)

This looks very nice. Could be a great game for me if they can flesh it out a little.

Quoting: GuestMankind Divided for what reason? everyone else said it was a disappointment and cashgrab.

Because it's fantastic? ^_^ Your mileage may vary of course.

I finally picked up SteamWorld Dig 2 and SteamWorld Heist for just under £15 the pair. Now to find time to play them!

This looks stunning! I won't do any more Kickstarters though but will be wishlisting.

Football Manager 2018 has released with same-day Linux support

There's also a demo on Steam. I tried it but it's very flaky for me, keeps crashing to desktop.

Edit: I should have stated the demo I tried was the "Touch" version.

Quoting: ArehandoroI wish is was slightly easier for newbies or not so hardcore football fans. Ains, I miss a bit PC Fútbol 5.0 -Don't know if it ever was released outside of Spain-

There's also Football Manager Touch, the "cut down" version which is the one I bought previously. It's less involved and more "pick the team and watch the game", although obviously there's more to it than that.

Quoting: Jahimself[snip]...If you like soccer, the game is an absolute must have. I myself try to get away as much as possible from it, because it is way too realistic and really makes you feel like a professionnal manager and thus you can spend way too much time in the game

If you play as any one of half the sides in the Premier League then you'll be sacked before you can finish a season! ;)

Quoting: crt0megaFive years ago I discovered GoL because I was searching news regarding Steam for Linux :D F*ck, I'm getting old.
If 5 years since first reading GOL makes you feel old, how old do you think I feel when I still remember typing this....

10 print HELLO
20 goto 10
run
I know I must have typed that and a lot more on my C-64, but I guess I'm too old to actually remember it.

I knew that machine inside out and wrote an assembler and BASIC toolkit! Can't remember any of it now though (I do still have the 5¼" floppies I used in my 1541/1571 drives though!)

I was part of the Beta... time has flown! I would never have guessed at what was coming though, I'm actually snowed under with a backlog of GOOD games yet to be played :D

Playing Doom 3 on Linux in 2017

Periodically I'll casually look at Doom 3 with a view to getting it set up as it's "the one that got away". I love all the old ID stuff. Good write up and thanks for the push - dhewm3 it is then!
