I just tried it, and i totally love the amazing GUI and sounds and musics and general concept !
I don't know if it's anything good to actually play, but the 20 first minutes amazed me, i will dig more.

The issue i find with late ports is that they are too late, most of the time. Other games came in the mid-time, and list of "to play" games is only going longer. Also, for online play, when Linux comes late, it also means the main activity around the game is done, and player base moved to another title.
A look at Linux gaming in 2017, an end of year review and Happy Holidays!

It's still a great game now "in 2018", largely i think because it's not serious. There is a tycoon hospital game coming soon i can't remember the name right now, it surely looks "plentyful" but not so fun, as it's "only" a managment game.

Some early thoughts on the open-world sandbox game ‘Project 5: Sightseer’

Alright, i tried it, and refunded for now, but i might rebuy very soon now i rethink about it, haha !
I thought it was too boring to drive around, as you can't set real road or fast travel stuff, and to reach some places you need to find unblocked ways, which are not many.
Too many rocks, cliff, holes, i needed to use "Unstuck" way too often, and at the end i even changed the options to set the timer to 20 seconds instead of few minutes.
Also the water is totally broken on my computer. At first i thought i was driving to a desert, then my car started to "fly" and react oddly, until i figured out i was actually floating on water. I can't see lake, only if i move the camera very close to the ground.
I love the design however, and the general setting, but i'm not sure i like being a car instead of a human-sized something. It means no interior, and no real feeling of scales.
Still, just to think about it now, i feel i want to play more, so i may rebuy it sooner than i thought...

Some early thoughts on the open-world sandbox game ‘Project 5: Sightseer’

I don't think i've seen that before, this is from their company website :
They did Windward too, a fun but repetitive pirate boat game, also on Linux, with a quite good suuport 1 year after release, so i would expect a solid game experience with P5S, with a hope of more depth than the previous game they made.
QuoteBe aware that we do not distribute press keys for any of our games. This includes Project 5: Sightseer.
