If it's not too heavy for my old rig, it will be mine.

The first few times i played, i actually thougth i was online with other layers... Only at the end of some matches i noticed nobody was talking, haha ! For sure multiplayer would be great. Not sure it can succeed without it. It remembers me of the excellent Running With Rifle, only with less options, and FPS view.

QuoteConsidering the developer has moved on to making the sequel, which might support Linux, this will seriously impact my decision to support them.

Yeah, and they have a kind of tech demo for Xeno2 only via Galaxy GoG, one more reason to be prudent.

Yep, not many good RTS for Linux (yet ?), but still some good choices :

Wargame Red Dragon (and other Wargame games)
W40K DoW 2
Wyrmsum
Company of Heroes 2
Nightside
Planetary Annihilation Titan (i boycott them)
Star Ruler 2 (more like a 4X but still a gem)
... and others i can't think about right now

I tried several times, and i can't find myself enjoying the game so far. It feels at the same time too... busy ? and not deep enough. Anyone played it for real and have some advice to get into it ?

I don't like to have a "surprise game", and maybe worst, one not for Linux. I prefer to hand-pick my games, so i can (more or less) manage my time and money. From 2017, only Total War: Warhammer would get my intention, but i already bought it before, so...

Mech combat game Dark Horizons: Mechanized Corps is now in Beta for Linux, very promising

Hi,

I played it a little, it's very unstable, i got lots of crash, mouse becomes unreactive ingame (but not in menu), terrible clipping, some GUI horror... but at same time, it feels attractive, so i will keep an eye on it and try more.
