Tempest is better for eyes, and Naval Action is better for gameplay, but only Tempest may go to Linux, so...

I really enjoyed Drox. I wanted to like Zombasite, but i don't. Everything is too... "messy" ? I can't feel i enjoy it.

Infinite Bundle from Bundle Stars has 12 Linux games for next to nothing
2 January 2016 at 2:42 pm UTC

Most of the games in Bundle Stars are very often bad games. This one is the same, so we have some kind of equity with Windows players, we both have bad games to not play with. A few times however they did some nice ones.

It looks nice and cute. However i really don't like 3D platform games, i prefer by far 2D for this kind. Still nice to see more games coming to different OS.

Some thoughts on Xenonauts the XCOM inspired strategy game, now it’s native on Linux
29 November 2015 at 9:50 am UTC

I love Xenonauts. I used to play it a lot when i was still running a Dual Boot, with a few mods, it was awesome. Then i switched to a full Linux system, and i couldn't run the mods, so i gave up. I may try it again now...

I played UFO:AI also, and for a few weeks i couldn't decide which one i prefered, but at the end, with the community mods, Xenonauts won.

Also, UFO:AI is still in 2.5 and it's like this for too long. The 2.6 InDev brings a new UI, but still not so good, in my opinion. It's free, so i can't nag too much, but still, it's super slow developpement to reach a new Stable version.

GOL Asks: What have you been playing on Linux & SteamOS recently?
24 November 2015 at 10:55 am UTC

I play on Linux , and i have no interest on SteamOS beside more potential ported games. I play lots of Alpha indev game, because i like to see how they evovle, and most of the time i don't even play the "finished" product, even if i have 10, 20, 50... hours of played time. So lately, i've played several games, like always, included :

++ = main games
+ = side games
- = tested or replayed a little

- 0 A.D.
++ Templar Battleforce
++ Conquest of Elysium 4
- Dinocide Demo
- Boss Constructor
- Kwaan
- Planet Centauri
- Warring States
+ Brigador
+ Siralim
+ Zombasite
- Thea
- Starsector
- Factorio
- Wildterra
- Black Sea Odyssey Demo
++ and i confess, Secret of Grindea via WINE

It's sad, and at same time it's cool the still care about us.

I've tried the Linux version on my computer a few days ago, it works without any flaw so far.
