Is Scam Citizen even a game after all those years? or still a tech demo.

I would like to see Dirt Rally 2.0 but i bet it wont happen due to DLC hell it has, would be hard for Feral to keep up with day 1 DLC support later down the road.

Quoting: TheReaperUKOn my system I7-6700, 16GB Ram, Geforce GTX 1060 6GB, it was looking good, solid 60 fps with v-sync on at the start of Xen level, looking around finding ammo, etc, then as i walked up to the point where the word XEN appears on screen, it drop to less then 1 fps for about 3 or 4 minutes, then back to normal, walked a bit more and had to jump down from a cliff edge and bang less then 1 fps again, this time i gave up waiting after over 5 minutes it was still under 1 fps.

Forced Proton mode (did not force D9VK) let it download, loaded up game and went to XEN Level, And now it runs without the drops to less then 1 fps, the lowest fps i saw was 48fps but most of the time sitting at 60fps, so yeah only the Windows version seems to run without problems, Linux and OpenGL is having some major issues.

yeah same for me with Ryzen 3700X, 32GB ram, Geforce GTX 1080Ti. runs 200-400 FPS mostly all maxed 1440p, but then suddenly drops either to 5 or 1 fps with GPU usage dropping to 0% and GPU going into idle clocks. First time it comes back after like minute or 2, but then goes back to snailpace and never recovers. Native is sadly unplayable atm :(

It's already possible to play Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Linux with Steam Play

Quoting: EhvisAnyway, never played Halo in my life, so nostalgia for me to worry about.

I only played the first one on PC back in the days and it looked outdated even then and controls were slow and unresponsive, story seemed to be nonexistent and it was really not fun to play.

So yeah no nostalgia for me either.

Rest of the games were mostly on consoles only is what i hear. Since i havent owned a console since the first NES, i havent even heard about the rest of the Halo games lol

Steam Play Proton 4.11-9 is out with a few fixes, plus a new release of Proton GE

Quoting: Luke_NukemWhy do you need the tool for Dirt Rally 2.0? I've got the same wheel, and was thinking about grabbing the game.

Like @Werner already said, proton and FFB is a nasty business. Wheel itself works but you need it for FFB and without FFB its no point playing those games.

/home/xpander/Build_Projects/ffbtools-master/bin/ffbwrap --update-fix /dev/input/by-id/usb-Logitech_G920_Driving_Force_Racing_Wheel_for_Xbox_One_0000c58d7f6b6a4c-event-joystick -- %command%

This is the launch option i have to use to get FFB working in this game.

Quoting: TcheyCould be nice, however it smells like a tablet/phone game, according to the GUI, number of skills on screen etc. And that's for me never a good sign for gameplay and depth.

yeah reminded me Albion a bit in terms of UI, which also is quite bad on PC, in terms of UI layout at least

Steam Play Proton 4.11-9 is out with a few fixes, plus a new release of Proton GE
28 November 2019 at 10:23 am UTC

ForceFeedBack fix! Finally. The main problem with proton has always been the FFB support. I guess i still need my FFBtools from berarma for Dirt Rally 2.0 to work with my G920, but yeah 4.11 version broke FFB for Project Cars 2 completely and it worked somewhat with 4.2-9.

Thank you for forcing a incomplete UI into our face, seems to be a trend these days, Youtube Sudio thingy as well, luckily that can be opted out still, but its keeps changing back to the new sh*t again and again.

I mean, there are features missing on the new one, where is the proton info on games.
Why is the UI still slow and clunky. Why is everything huge like its made for blind people or fits more as a big picture replacement for TV..

im really not happy with this. It needs alot more work imo
