Quoting: EikeI cannot tell you if the numbers are close to reality, but from what I've read Estonia has a strong public open source strategy.

NVIDIA driver 535.86.05 out now
19 July 2023 at 4:00 pm UTC
I have none. 525 ones had cyberpunk2077 crash within 10 minute of playing with Xid109's. but 535 is all fine, both 535 drivers.

Quoting: EhvisAny notable remaining issues that weren't there in 525?

Not listed on the changelog, but this driver seems to fix also:
- Fix broken shader cache issue that was in previous 535. Basically it didn't read the shader cache from disk and compiled new one each game start
- Fix for Metro Exodus EE graphics corruption, no need to use the workaround
those were the only issues i encountered with previous drivers and seem to have been resolved.

Quoting: SolitaryCan you be more specific? I don't remember if I had to do anything, but maybe I did... I have played Arkham Asylum long time ago, and last time I played it was on Steam Deck and that was also year ago.
Have you read and checked solutions here? https://www.protondb.com/app/35140
There seems to be one advice repeating even on Deckprotontricks d3dx9 d3dcompiler_43
shouldnt it be

What gave the motion sickness to you exactly?
I personally played it at launch and after tweaking the ini files to increase the FoV,disable the idiotic chromatic abberation, disable depth of field and remove the 63 fps cap, it was pretty ok to play and i quite enjoyed it. Played the native linux build and back near the launch, so things might have changed a lot since.
Or was there some weird HeadBobbing issue?

Quoting: yokem55Does anyone know if the new Observer fixes the motion sickness the old one seemed to give a lot of people?

NVIDIA Vulkan Beta driver 525.47.31 released

Vulkan dev driver before that had Xid109 problems with Cyberpunk2077. 535.54.03 has been perfect with no complaints from me, except the shader cache seems broken on the latest driver. So games with lots of shaders will compile them every time since the driver has a bug to read them from disk. seems vulkan dev one fixes that but its still on the 525 branch which hasnt fixed the Xid109's i think.
Hopefully new 535 that fixes the shader cache issues will be released soon also.

Quoting: michaInterestingly, it seems the upward change solely comes from Ukraine:

Steam Beta improves Openbox support and fixes focus issues with AMD / Intel

Could be. I have no use for BPM, so i haven't tried it.

Quoting: slaapliedjePerformance for BPM is pretty crap at 4k on a RTX 2080... been playing on my 77" OLED lately, and moving around in the menus is pretty slow.
Granted, last night ran into a weird bug where the Steam Controller overlay button wouldn't bring up the overlay... had to go to the keyboard and press Shift+Tab to bring it up.
Ha, using the Steam Deck UI on a 77" screen is awesome though.

The problems i have with the steam client (desktop):
-60 FPS capped client. No way to remove the cap
-smooth scrolling is super slow in terms of how much the scroll moves. have to waste my scrollwheel a lot
-friends/buddy window doesnt remember its place on the second monitor on client start (it remembered fine with old UI)
-After 1-2 days of the client running VRAM usage grows without releasing it. client restart fixes it
Other than that the new UI is pretty neat. Text is a bit smaller on my 1440p screen which is nice also.
