Deus Ex Human Revolution because it's so much yellow. And they already ported the game to MacOS. And the following game, Mankind Divided, has just been announced so the timing is pretty good.

I saw the game appear in my Linux library on Steam yesterday. Didn't try to install and start it, though, maybe the executable is missing.
GOG, Reclaim Your Games

Of course, you can argue that Steam is a DRM (but one that works fine with Wine) but it's not a GOG exclusive feature.
Note that some games might have a new key format (happened to me for StarCraft in a budget reedition) but the support can provide you with a working one.
It would be nice to be able to activate games on GOG that had no CD keys but I don't see them requesting some pictures of the original game boxes and floppies as proof of purchase. Too bad, I think I still have my Amiga games from Lucasfilm. :D

QuoteI personally find this an amazing gesture, which with all the other stuff GoG does [...] it's really distinguishing itself from Steam.Well, this feature has been on Steam for years, in fact. See there: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7480-wusf-3601

Quoting: Guesti would love to get digital versions of my disc games like diablo IIYou'll never see a Blizzard game on GOG or Steam, as they have their own system. But you know you can already reclaim you disc games on Battle.net, right (http://us.battle.net or http://eu.battle.net for USA/Europe respectively)? Works for Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, StarCraft that use the old Battle.net and, of course, the newer ones (WoW, Diablo 3 & StarCraft 2) that require having a Battle.net account anyway for online activation. It doesn't work for Diablo or Warcraft 1 & 2 (they didn't have a CD key). You'll never need you discs anymore. The only drawback is that you can't resell them after this as the CD keys are then tied to your account.

Quoting: HamishIf they put up a few LucasArts titles I might be able to reclaim them. Specifically Dark Forces II and Republic Commando if I can dig up our old CD Jewel Cases.I'm not sure Dark Forces 2 had a CD key, they were not widely used at that time. Not sure exactly when most games started to have a serial but I remember people being outraged when Half-Life 2 required online activation in 2004.

Humble Indie Bundle 14 Is Out, Outlast & Shadow Warrior New To Linux

Perfs with Mesa/RadeonSi are bad, I've yet to test the game with Catalyst (but I'd like to avoid this).

Quoting: IvancilloHas anyone a Phenom or Phenom II on his rig?The issue has been resolved. It now runs on my Athlon X3 and from the Steam forums it seems that it works too for a guy with a Phenom II.
I can't run Shadow Warrior. It prompts "Illegal instruction" at the command line.

Quoting: adolsonThe prices are certainly worrying. It seems like they think they're targeting PC gamers, which I'm not sure is the correct market for these devices. Well, we'll see what happens. On the other hand, for a relase at the end of 2015, they'd better aim at decent hardware rather than stick with the quivalent of a PS4/XB1 that devs already complain about the limitations.

Catalyst doesn't integrate well with X, it randomly crashes in some games, it's a mess.
Believe me, I'd be more than happy to say that AMD make good drivers and it's a joy to use their cards on Linux, as I own one (and was pretty specific in buying an AMD card with my new PC 5 years ago), but in the recent monthes I've really been tempted to ditch it and buy a nVidia card. And when you know that I bought an AMD card because I was really mad at nVidia for some of their commercial attitude and swore to never buy something from them again, that's a thing.

Quoting: MaelraneCan you, in any way, bring evidence for this claim? I mean, I'm a happy AMD user. On Linux I use the open source drivers with mesa and can play 96 of my 99 Linux-Games in Steam just fine. Some run better than on Windows, others slightly worse, but 96 of them are absolutely playable.Well, first I'm not talking about Mesa but Catalyst. I too prefer using Mesa because it generally works better (the only problem being that some games don't work at all with Mesa and I don't think 96/99 games is acceptable: all games should work).

QuoteBut the drivers suck on Windows? I know they had problems, like 10 years ago, but today? Sorry, this sounds like an old myth to me, people keep spreading and spreading.AMD cards have generally less performances than nVidia ones on equivalent hardware, they still occasionally have issues with some games that need to be addressed by new drivers. Sorry, I can't be more specific, I don't keep a list of issues when I see them around, I see some two or three times per year. I remember issues with Brink in 2010/2011, though, because they happened to me and they pretty much killed the game.

After checking the Ars Technica article, the main problem of the machines IMO is not their price, it's their design. There's not a coherent ensemble, some of them look like basic desktop PCs (the Falcon Tiki looks like a joke). It will be pretty hard to communicate on the Steam Machines as a whole with these.

Playstation 4 is at $400, XBox One is around $350. So, yeah, these Steam Machines are quite expensive even for entry range and even if they're more powerful. But I think there are other things to take into account:
1) the Steam Machines cost more but the games cost less (and they can be really cheap with the constant sales) than on PS4/XB1 which, on the long term, can make a big difference
2) the SM are mainly aimed toward people that don't own a gaming system (for them, back to point 1): people already owning a Windows/Linux PC (or Mac) can buy a cheap $50 streaming device and a controller to play their games on TV
This is a new offer on the market, you have to see beyond the fact that the console itself costs more than the ones from Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo. Of course, the SM will only work if the average customer can see this too.
