The DXVK project continues to mature its translation layer for Direct 3D 9 / 10 / 11 to Vulkan, something that can be used together with Wine and Proton (along with a few ports using it).

DXVK when paired up with Wine (and integrated in Steam Play Proton) translates Direct3D 9/10/11 to Vulkan enabling better performance on Linux for a lot of Windows games. Today, a brand new release went up.
Developer Philip Rebohle today announced the release of DXVK 1.5.5, bringing with it plenty of bug fixes for this impressive Direct3D to Vulkan translation layer.
