Faeria: Strategy Card Game

Looks like this one is shaping up to be really interesting, it's a game developed with the ideas of the board game Settlers of Catan and Hearthstone. so far it is only available for Mac and Windows. but they plan to make this fully cross platform as in Linux, iOS, the various game consoles and Android. I've watched it on twitch being played a couple of times. worth a look if anyone really likes TCGs but would like a more strategic board game aspect added to it.
I've personally been playing Hearthstone since beta, since Blizzard refuses to make a native Linux client then this game may end up getting my money instead.

yeah same here, as soon as I see that tux symbol I'll jump into it. for $25 price you get a lot of starting stuff which compared to the pricing on Hearthstone it's a real good bargain. Even though Hearthstone is free to start. Hearthstone is about to come out with a new expansion I'm most likely not going to bother with it.

for anyone interested I've found out this game does in fact work on Linux, it looks like a case of SteamOS maybe having some issues so the icon does not show up in the Steam list. The steamdb shows that it is in fact available: https://steamdb.info/app/397060/depots/

I just purchased this and have been playing for a few hours now without any issues.
