Some interesting news I just came across. all politics aside its always good to see a war end.

I don't live in the US, and I can't care less about Barack Obama (actually I don't like him at all but I believe he is good for USA).
He didn't "end" the war in Iraq, he just took most of US troops back.
The suicide bomberman and the killing will actually increase after they leave.
It's not a war that USA won,it would be interesting to see what will be next in Iraq - maybe the bad guys will prevail, who knows ?
P.S
Damn tweakedenigma has 41 post, STOP HIM NOW before it's too late !!!
;)
WOW, that is awesome... Barack finnally!
BTW i don't really like that barack is building mosques at Twin Towers place

I don't think it's barracks call, it's the NYC mayor who gets to decide.
And frankly it would be the stupidest thing ever if those mosques and "Islamic Culture Center" will be built on this place.
P.S
I thought there is already a monument on this place so no other building could nor should be built there.
Too true, but I still consider it good news (and I might have copy/pasted the from the original article). I lived in a military town for a number of years and always feel good when troops get to come home so still good news.
Oh and I think this is 50

I am a bit leery of this thread since I am not a big fan of the idea that politics and for the most part religion being argued about on forums where it does not belong. I actually disagree with quite a few comments here but I am not going to break my own rule by posting them. But I will say that if the war is actually over, then good, if not, then that is sad.
This + 1.
I too try to stay aware from arguments about politics and religion.
Politics well i don't really ever understand any of it.
Religion - well my views are rather harsh on it so i keep it to myself usually :P
If the war is indeed coming to and end...good, war is bad.
