The last month i started trying and comparing some games on a used pc i build back then
Most of the games where Window$ games running through Wine
I tried them with a AMD card, so i also used a Gallium Nine patched Wine, that gives some huge performance boost, and i compared it to vanilla Wine and Wine staging
I have a blog where i upload all the screenshots and videos that i do, by clicking the screenshot you see down here you will be redirected to that test gallery, the videos are embedded here.
If you want to catch'em all at once, here is the link:
Blog link - native and wine gaming on linux
All the games (unless specified) are: Steam games running at 1080p
ps. as i change a lot of hardware it's not always possible to record videos with decent framerates, anyway i try my best, if anybody know a good alternative to Nvidia's NVENC for AMD feel free to let me know
Feel free to leave a comment here or on mah blog :)
now using:
· crappy 2006 laptop (T5600, 945gm, and 2gb ram) can't really test anything on here

ps. gallium nine doesn't boost the fps dramatically like with AMD, but anyway it's way more playable 'cause it reduces the fps drops (look at the fps graphs)
ps2. I'm going to add Wine and WStaging with closed-source drivers asapdoneView PC info
