Blank/Black Screen After Quiting Tomb Raider
Cyba.Cowboy Apr 14, 2017
When I quit "Tomb Raider" from the main menu, I get "stuck" at a blank/black screen and no matter how long I leave the game, nothing else happens. Steam also will not let me quit, as it thinks Tomb Raider is still running and my computer is rendered mostly useless.

The only work-around seems to be to "hard" reset my laptop (that is, force its power off and start again).

Is anyone having this problem and/or does anyone know of a fix for this?

I'm running the "Steam" version of Tomb Raider on an ASUS Vivobook X556UV, powered by an NVIDIA GeForce 920MX and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS ("Xenial Xerus" ).

Thanks, it worked a charm!

It's a shame that I need to do this whenever I play this game for more than a few minutes, but it's better than not having this game at all (I single-boot)...

You should run steam from a commandline. Then when you try to quit Tombraider it might write out some clues as to why it does not shut down.
And contact Feral support, they might be able to help.
