Hi-DPI for Linuxmint Cinnamon?
Guppy Apr 29, 2017
Connected my new 4k monitor and everything it *tiny* now I've set the font scaling to 1.5 which helps a bit but icons everywhere are still microscopic.

is there a general DPI setting somewhere or am I supposed to go around manually scaling everything?

Settings → General → set scaling to Hi-DPI.

The problem is that tons of applications don't support HiDPI, one in a list of reasons why I just went back to 1080, much less hassle in the end.

Steam for example is terrible on 4K.

I only use Steam in big screen mode, that works flawlessly. Haven't encountered problems with other programmes as of yet
