Performance is a bit better with new buffers hack, but still quite suboptimal (~20 fps):

Just tested master + new buffer patch in hierarch square => 10-12 fps.
So yes, same on Nvidia apparently - new patch slower than staging and old patch.

Is anyone with Vega card still able to reproduce the freeze caused by invisible monsters patch?

It's still freezing for me on RX 480.

Reported a new bug, fps capped at 60fps in menus:
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44623

Would be interesting if there are more that can reproduce?
(to avoid "skit bakom spakarna", Swedish version of "PEBKAC - Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair" ;-) )

Why is that a bug? Capping in the menu can be done by the game itself.
andda715 Feb 27, 2018
"can done by the game itself."

Sure but it is not, as it is not capped when using e.g. wine-staging?

EDIT: unless I'm totally mistaken / SBS :-)

Ah, I suppose CSMT affects it then.

If you don't have any expansions, can you send me your savegames? I'd like to test more than White Orchard :-)

Tested the game again With 2.21 + Latest PBA, ran a small recording this time:

Józef Kucia prepared a set of patches that affect draw calls with no attachments (should be related to invisinble monsters and Mesa freeze issue): https://source.winehq.org/patches/

I wonder if they are working better than before.
