The way I see it, these new little columns would only need to contain a boolean value which would translate into a checkbox in the sales submission form. If a sale included, say, a DRM-free download and a Steam key then a little tick mark would be shown under the corresponding columns in the sales page. Clean and simple. The only flaw I can see in this plan is: how to select only e.g. Steam-key deals?
Do you want it so when they check say DRM Free and Steam it only lists items that have them both or for it to list any that have drm free and any that are Steam keys checked?
DRM Free, Steam & Desura checkboxes. Any one item can have all 3 or just one. Works really well :D

I've just checked it and it's perfect, I love it! I see you opted for the filter to act as a logical OR, rather than as an AND. I too think it's better this way. Good work!

I can't see anything in the main page either, but there definitely are two different alternating shades in the sales page.
While I don't think we should apply alternating background colours to articles in the frontpage (mainly for aesthetical reasons), I do really think there should be some sort of separator between them.
I agree with that, but I vote to implement it like it's done in many other forums: you only get to delete your post if it's the last one in a thread. Otherwise, you can only edit it.
How about light blue d3f9f9:

Maybe colours are not good enough

It also could be applied to sales page
