More fun. So I've upgraded my gaming / development pc to Ubuntu 18.04 after having to rebuild it anyway. And got the new version of Unity (2018.2.5f1). Wish I hadn't really. upgraded the project to use it. Now I don't get any sounds in the editor or the build. I've checked the sounds are assigned, even dragged an audio asset back onto an audiosource, no joy. Any of you guys had this?
EDIT even weirder, in Unity editor, I can open the sound assets up and play them and I hear them correctly!
