Halo 2 Anniversary crashes my entire computer after loading into the first level

Every time I load into the very first mission of Halo 2 Anniversary through Halo MCC on Steam, it causes my entire screen to go white. After a few seconds, my monitor disconnects, and I have to reboot my PC to make it usable again.
