AMD integrated GPU naming changes for PC Info survey
Liam Dawe Oct 4, 2021
Hi all,

After some feedback about the naming we used for AMD GPUs, specifically integrated stuff, we've adjusted the naming to be like this:

- Radeon Vega 3 Graphics
- Radeon Vega 6 Graphics
- Radeon Vega 8 Graphics
- Radeon Vega 9 Graphics (only used in the Ryzen 5 3580U Microsoft Surface Edition Processor)
- Radeon RX Vega 10 Graphics
- Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics
- Radeon Graphics (Vega 2)
- Radeon Graphics (Vega 3)
- etc

Have moved over a few people to what should be the right one under the better naming. Be sure to double check your info. Best to check the official AMD specs sheet to see which one is correct for you.

The problem is that AMD has been pretty terrible on their naming, often just listing "Radeon Graphics" for their newer stuff (they stopped listing them as "Vega") so we need to properly separate them for the generations with the numbering based on the CCUs.

A pretty minor issue overall since none of the chips have a lot of Linux users in our stats.

GPU model searching was also incorrectly case sensitive, it's been fixed so it's case insensitive now.
