Not sure when we will do a new server yet as I am quite busy, the main thing is I don't want to pay for a server for a game I got totally bored with.
Hardly anyone played on it mainly due to lag as we needed more resources and I didn't want to pay out for a bigger server.

Without it, I have been able to run servers on very low-end PCs, even a raspberry pi (okay for 2-3 players). But I admit a native C client would be really useful.

but sadly that isn't on mojangs plans, yet they have multicore support for the client, but why the hell did they spend the time on the client when the server needs it so much more than the clients?
