Looking at the errors again, I think you might want a 32 bit prefix. I believe you can set it to 32 bit in the options for the runner (or the game). I'm away from my PC, so I'm running off memory here.

That's pretty common for a lot of windows programs to use 32 bit libraries. Especially in the case of games as no one is really going to update or recompile them.

Thier manual page for origin seems to list some other 32bit libraries you might want to install, if you haven't yet. That can save some frustrating moments (I used the like you provided)

I know you mentioned some Linux experience, but I don't want to assume everyone has the same knowledge or experience. My apologies if this is too basic:

If it helps, the "WRONG ELF CLASS" error usually means the wrong architecture. Linux defaults to 64-bit, so in most cases the program is trying to find the 32 bit version of a library and gets the wrong one.

The "NO SUCH FILE" usually means that library is not installed. For example the libjpeg.so.62 error is probably looking for the package libjpeg62, which might not be installed. Usually the dependency system of your package manager handles this automatically, but when you use a third party tool to install a program (like lutris, which installs it's own wine versions) or install/compile things manually, you may run into this error and have to fix manually. For me, a quick Google search of the missing file will almost always tell me the name of the package if I can't find it in the package manager.

Linux is fun, because you get a ton of control over your system and can tinker, but it can also be frustrating for the same reasons. I've found usually the end part of the error message is the part I tend to copy into Google when I'm looking for answers. So like, from above:

libcrypto.so.1.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I checked and you were right, there was a libjpeg62 package that wasn't installed. However, I installed it and that error line still showed up.

As you said, with 3rd-party repositories it's not as easy to know what the dependencies are. I wish Lutris would just install everything it could need. I see that a lot of those errors involve "libgst", but if I this:

The bottom option is "Prefix Architecture". I'd suggest setting that to 32-bit and seeing if that helps.

You are right, Lutris is likely doing it's own environment outside of the system which can be really confusing.
