best website for comparing hardware
ExpandingMan Nov 3, 2022
I'm going to build myself a new machine once performance benchmarks comparing the new nvidia and AMD cards are available (yes I'm very much rooting for AMD).

I really don't like my methods for getting hardware information, it involves a lot of web searching.

Does anyone have recommendations for good, no-bullshit websites that have extensive hardware information? I'm looking for mostly just data, not all the reviews like tomshardware or similar.

I typically use https://www.cpubenchmark.net/ and https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/ when I'm comparing CPUs/GPUs.

If it is only for a linux computer, i recommend https://www.phoronix.com/ and https://openbenchmarking.org/, because what is the point to look at benchmarks running on different drivers on a different OS, unless you want it to run on both OS.
