StoneColdSpider Feb 18, 2023
G'Day everyone……. Its your interim host here once again…….. Its a nice sunny Saturday here right now…….…… Today would have been Maggies 14th birthday……… So it has not been a fun day……. Also we got temperatures into the 40’s during the week…….So that was not fun either……. And finally this week was the Super Bowl…… With the Kansas City Chiefs defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 38 – 35 in what was a very good game…… Thankfully it was a hot day here so I did not miss out on a walk by staying home and watching the game……. Because it has been so hot I have been staying home which means plenty of time for video games…….

As for gaming this week in Emulationville I played…….

NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona Dick Trickle Career

Round 2 of 10 at Kenyon Valley Speedway…….

Dick Trickle at the track ready to race…….

Dick Trickle did a few practice laps to get use to the track and made a few setup adjustments to suit his driving style…… Then it was straight into qualifying that resulted in Dick getting himself into the top 10 with an outstanding performance nabbing him 8th…… So Dick will be in Heat 2 starting in 4th place…...

Qualifying Results…..

Dick Trickle lined up ready to start Heat 2…...

The 5 lap Heat 2 race started well for Dick as he quickly got into 3rd place on the first lap……. But any celebration was a bit premature as he trickled down on to the grass apron and spun on the final lap losing 3 spots and ending up in 6th place….. Only consultation was that Trickle would be starting on the front row in the B Main race…...

Heat 2 Results……..

The 30 lap B Main race saw Dick take advantage of the front row start as Dick quickly shafted his way up the inside of turn 3 and took the lead…… And from there was he was never headed as he showed his 8th place qualifying pace to lap the entire field on way to winning the B Main…….. That meant Dick Trickle had raced his way into the A Main two races in a row……. And will start in 11th place…….

B Main Results…….

The 50 Lap A Main was a bit of a mess for ol Dick….. He started 11th was quickly pushed back to 12th with the cars in front 3 wide around the track…… Dick couldnt find the hole as he pushed hard to try and get in between the cars in front…… Finally on lap 10 the field started to spread out a bit and there was finally a hole for Dick to penetrate……. And he didnt need a second invitation as he took it straight away….. To get around 3 cars in 3 laps and move up to 9th…… He was then able to track down 8th and 7th after putting together some excellent lap times now that he was finally in some clear air…… And Trickle took both of them on the outside in the final 10 laps to seal 7th place in the A Main……. His best finish to date……

Dick Trickle was left counting his winnings in pit lane as he eyed up a nice engine and exhaust upgrade……. “This should just be enough” Dick was heard muttering to himself as he recounted the money…….

Next race is at Kingsfield Raceway…….

Hopefully this is the last time Dick is coming up the rear……...

NCAA Football 11 Steve Austin Road to Glory

This week the undefeated Boise State Broncos (7-0) are at home against the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Rainbow….. (6-2)

Steve Austins rushing stats for the season…….

As per usual Austin spent one night studying and four nights training and all his new attribute points were put into acceleration……

Lee Corso picking the Boise State Broncos to beat the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Rainbow……....

Boise State coach had a long talk to the players before taking the field……. Looking to keep up the high intensity and not show any signs of slacking off against conference rivals…….

After winning the toss the Boise State Broncos elected to receive the ball first……. After a short pass to Steve Austin he managed to get to the outside of the defence and was able to run down the side line and juke the safety to get an early touchdown for the Broncos……

The Broncos defence got an interception the next play and after a short run by Austin up the middle the Broncos were up 14 – 0 within the first minute……..

The Broncos defence was just as good as the offence…… making 5 Interception and recovering 4 fumbles……

Making it real easy for Steve Austin to rack up the touchdowns and he ran it in 9 times and caught a further 5 touchdowns as the Broncos hammered the Warriors who just had no answers and probably wished they stayed on the bus instead……

The Broncos let in 2 late touchdowns in the 4th quarter……… But it was far to late for the Warriors to get even close to a win as the Boise State Broncos ran out easy winners 111 – 13…..

The Boise State coach was very happy after the game….. Reiterating the need not to slacken off even though they now have a 8-0 record…. They need to remain undefeated to have a chance of making it to the national playoffs…...

Strip Fighter II

For Valentines Day I played the most romantic game I know……. Strip Fighter II……...

A game shamelessly made to cash in on Street Fighter II….. This game features 6 beautiful women wearing almost nothing and every one of their special moves has them exposing themselves during the move…… Its a fascinating time capsule about the gaming landscape back in 1993…… And this game came out way before Tomb Raider……

The fighters in the game are:

Amanda
Bella
Martha
Medusa
Nina
Yuki

Amanda has the best move in all 2D fighting games….. She spins around like a spinning top with her breasts out and smacks her opponent in the face with her breasts while she spins.............. And no that aint a joke........ Shes like an X-Rated beyblade…… Or as I call it……. The Breasted Beyblade……… Its an amazing maneuver……

Medusa doesnt have snakes in her hair but she is wearing snakes as clothes and her special move has her throwing her snakes at her opponent which reveals her body as she is basically naked without her snakes…….

This game can be played on either the 2 button or 6 button game pad and I highly recommend the 6 button pad……. The controls are very stiff….. Much like the player…….

After winning a round in every match you get a rather nice image of a scantily clad lady…….. And after winning the match you get another image of her……. This time she has stripped down to her ummmmm birthday suit…… Its a nice incentive to keep going and play through this rather bad game…….

Overall its not a very good game but well worth a look if you want to see the type of game Leisure Suit Larry would have made if he owned a video game company……….

As for this upcoming week….. The temperatures are meant to stay in the mid 30’s……. So I think it will be more of the same next week…..

As for gaming there will be the usual NCAA Football 11 and more hard Dick Trickle action in NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona……. There will be yet another TMNT game….. I swear they never end..…… and most probably yet another Kirby game……

Well thats it from me…… Have a good week everyone……

Now for my bad joke of the week……
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says W T F......

Only a short post from me this week! This time around I'll be starting on a mini-marathon, and continuing my pinball efforts.

First up is Super Bomberman (SNES). Since Super Bomberman R 2 will be released this year, I've decided to revisit all of the Super Bomberman titles to date in the run-up to its launch - this encompasses Super Bomberman 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (all SNES), and Super Bomberman R (Proton). That'll get me at least six weeks closer to Super Bomberman R 2.

Secondly, though I haven't had a lot of time this week to add more points to my attempt to reach the ending-sequence of Alien Crush (PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16), here's the current score. It's now at 238,182,500 of 999,999,990.

I hope that this gets easier over time... At least she had many happy birthdays with you.

This one actually left me wondering how I never noticed that!

That depends if anybody else wants to see, haha! I've got some new items on the way at present, so anything I do now wouldn't be current anyway.
