Removing any old prefixes doesn't seem to affect anything. I have installed the latest versions of wine (8.11 from multilib), winetricks (20220411-1 from multilib), and wine-mono (8.0.0-1 from extra). Reinstalling any of these also has no effect.
Since all Proton versions are also failing for me and Proton is, of course, Wine-based, I'm starting to think if this issue and my still-unresolved Proton issue could possibly be related (since the other components, namely Steam and GPU drivers, seem to work fine on their own with native games and other applications).
