Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
If this is to do with Steam, please add your system read-out from Steam -> Help -> System Information (please put that into Pastebin/Gist as linked above!): N/A
If this is not Steam, you can still give us a system readout using inxi with "inxi -SbCGxx" in terminal (please put that into Pastebin/Gist as linked above!): https://pastebin.com/vSQ2ZTs8
You can note your issue below here
I've been trying to install Curseforge via the Lutris scripts available here: https://lutris.net/games/curseforge/
I am trying to install this so that my wife can enjoy modding The Sims 4. I am aware that there is a native Curseforge client; but it only supports World of Warcraft.
Of the available Lutris scripts, the 1.0 and Confusion scripts appear to be the most up to date, so I have tried both of those.
My default WINE runner is set to lutris-7.2-2-x86_64.
When I try to run the 1.0 script, I get the following output: https://pastebin.com/zCGbcwCL
At this point, I get an error:
View cookie preferences.
Accept & Show Accept All & Don't show this again Direct Link
After clicking the OK button, Lutris says the command exited with code 50944 and only gives me the option to go back which cancels the installation and gives me the option to remove all files.
The Confusion script looks more fleshed out, adding in dependencies for .Net, etc. This is what happens when I run that installer: https://pastebin.com/SUQeW8uY
At this point, the Overwolf Installer window appears:
View cookie preferences.
Accept & Show Accept All & Don't show this again Direct Link
I click on the Install button and shortly another window appears informing me of a connection issue:
View cookie preferences.
Accept & Show Accept All & Don't show this again Direct Link
This is shortly followed by another window:
View cookie preferences.
Accept & Show Accept All & Don't show this again Direct Link
I try to click Install again, and the following appears:
View cookie preferences.
Accept & Show Accept All & Don't show this again Direct Link
Success, maybe?
I close the window (as instructed in the Lutris script description for the Confusion script) and the following is logged to the Lutris install log:
Monitored process exited.
Initial process has exited (return code: 50944)
Exit with return code 50944
Unfortunately, nothing happens past this point.
I get the same issue in WINE 8.13 too.
I wonder if you can lend me some of your brilliant minds to help solve this one!
Note any particular steps to reproduce it below here
As above.
