After yesterdays patch i played a 7 hour no life session :D
Really immersive game. Few bugs here and there ofc, but no crashes or stability issues.
Have played 45 hours in total now :)
My pick for this weekend is Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, which was released for the SNES by Bandai in 1994.
It's a simple-but-fun beat-'em-up, with nice animations that capture the characters' personalities, and an overall audiovisual presentation that reminds me more of Capcom's 1990s SNES output than Bandai's - impressively, the title screen even has the TV-show's theme-song, complete with the vocals!
Though the game itself is new to me, I felt like playing something featuring a nostalgic property this week, so there we go.
You want the one from 1993, not 1983!
I honestly didn't know that there were any wrestling-themed beat-'em-ups until I saw this, but now I'm surprised that there aren't more of them - it seems like such a natural fit.
Sounds good....... But is it better than the Sailor Moon beat 'em up on the SNES???.......
No Bomberman???........
I thought the DeLorean went to far back........
Yeah I always wondered why there was not many wrestling beat 'em up games even more so considering how many have wrestling moves are in them like Final Fight for example with Max Haggar.......
I also always thought wrestling would lend itself very well to 2D fighters..... Back in the late 90's early 2000's I really wanted a capcom WWF fighting game like Marvel Superheroes or X-Men Children of the Atom........ Hell even something like WWF vs Street Fighter or WWF vs Capcom........ My dream match back in the day was Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Zangief........ But we never got it
We did finally get a WWE 2D fighting game....... WWE Immortals..... But it was a shite free to play mobile game....... So you can guess how good that was........ You cant even "move" the characters you just tap and/or swipe on the screen to perform attacks/blocks......
I've never played it, so I have no idea, I'm afraid!
Just as there was time for Klax in the 90s, there is always time for Bomberman.
Hahaha!
It really is surprising that they never made such a thing...
Ugh.
